We had a little staycation babymoon and honestly, the staff couldn't have been better. After telling them why we were there, they surprised us with an upgrade and some sweet macarons waiting in our room.

Housekeeping was inconsistent. the room wasn’t cleaned unless specifically requested, and even then, it could fall short of expectations with dirty linens or unmade beds. Breakfast and happy hour felt rushed because they had limited hours.

I enjoyed my stay at the Kimpton Hotel Palomar in Philadelphia. The location is perfect for exploring. I easily walked to shops and restaurants. My room had a fantastic city view with large windows. The staff were friendly and made check-in quick. The room was clean with nice decor. The valet service felt inconsistent. the staff seemed rushed when I checked out. Also, the air conditioning didn't cool the room properly during the night. It would’ve been nice to have it fixed sooner. I expected more from a premium hotel in terms of amenities and service.
